During such occasions such music is normally allocated a particular amount of time during the sermon when people can sing all along and dance to their pleasure. In such occasions some specific time is also designed for the presentation of presents. Their presentation may be part of the sermon or even to mark a special event or celebration taking place.

The performance of these songs can also be done in special gatherings and concerts. These mainly involve large groups of people coming to praise together and not as part of their normal sermons and days of worship. Unlike sermons, such concerts are normally held during the night.

Christian music is also subject to performance during other occasions far from those that involve worship. Such occasions are mainly special ones that include wedding ceremonies, funeral services and others such as fund raising and thanks giving. Gifts are also presented on some of these special occasions for instance during weddings.

Similar to all other types of music, there has to be a specific group of people or individual making the presentation. In this case, presentation may be done by a single person. In addition, a group of people commonly known as a choir or band can also be involved.

Music is normally considered boring if not accompanied by the playing of various musical instruments. It is for this reason that performance of Christian songs is associated with playing of instruments such as guitars and drums.
