The use of telemarketing often narrows down to suing of various techniques that focus of convincing the clients about certain products. Some of the marketing operations could be done in person. The process of using various telemarketing machines has evolved over the years. It started with the use of simple devices such as telephones back in the days when they were still used for basic communication. This laid the foundation for the business-to-business techniques. The inbound logistics operations aim at receiving the various orders from the clients. These are then arranged in terms of urgency. The department also receives the goods from the various producers, breaks them down and packages. The outbound department focuses on ensuring that the various packaged goods are transported to the premises of the customers.

Most of marketing operations are controlled from an office. The operations of marketing are headed by a team leader. This person charts the path for other players within this department. In events where broadcasting may be done, a call center is put up.

The clients are approached in a special way. The first phone call that is made to the clients aims at establishing their needs. The needs are then incorporated in various designs of products. The subsequent phone calls focus on convincing the client to buy the products in question. This means that the producers and the marketers have to market these products very well.

The process of newspaper telemarketing may be done over the internet. The internet has expanded the means of communication and accessing the information. Through a number of specialized applications, the telemarketers can often get in touch with their prospective customers. All the customers need to do is to get the applications that will direct the traffic to them.
