Fresh Fantasy Books To Read In 2016

Fairly tales ignite your imagination, ensuring that you hang on every word a writer uses. This is the magic that characterizes fantasy books. Some writers have mastered the art of creating fantasies that are both believable and memorable. They produce classic titles that are impossible to let go. You are even tempted to reread the book several times. Here is a list of titles that are poised to dominate the year.

Scott Hawkins announces his entry into the genre with an interesting plot in The Library of Mount Char. It captures the story of children who end up with a cruel and extremely powerful father after abduction. They spend their childhood learning his craft and are now ready to conquer the world. They have to deal with sibling rivalry and at the same time fight with a clueless world. This is an interesting read by all means.

George Martin is the brain behind A Knight Of Seven Kingdoms. This is a series featuring a knight named Dunk who has a young squire called Egg. The book features incredible illustrations by Gary Gianni. Continuing with the reputation of the previous releases, this is another epic read.

Naomi Novik is a veteran in the fantasy shelves. Her work this time round is entitled Uprooted. It will join her other classic titles that are always intriguing to read and dripping with magic. The young girl learns her magic from a distant and cold magician. The author uses the girl to take you through intriguing court battles and adventures in a haunted forest. The plot is very rich.

N. K. Jemisin narrates a story of a woman who loses her son in a devastating battle. She has to deal with the broken parts of the world to get her son back. The title leads the park in an expected series. From her previous works in Inheritance, the future can only be more interesting. The title of the new release is The Fifth Season and features a tag line, Every Age Must Come To An End.

Dresden Files can be regarded as the series that put Jim Butcher at the top of the writing chart. It is a memorable long sequel but it appears to have ended and allowed The Cinder Spires to take over. The first title in this series is The Astronauts Windlass that is set in space. It features exciting wars and space ships that are fascinating. It is a worthy adventure for readers.

Sarah Maas gives readers a dose of romance in the story of a huntress who unknowingly kills the wrong wolf. A faerie lord captures her but in the ensuring events, romance appears. The young readers will enjoy the serving of pure love and romance contained in the pages. A Court of Thorns and Roses will be released in sequel.

The world has not seen the last of these intriguing novels. Others writers worth mentioning are Stace Nicole with her Archivist Wasp, Bardugo who wrote Six Crows and Victoria Aveyard with Red Queen. The year also promises more titles and interesting plots. Whether it is single titles or series, there is enough for readers who get lost in fantasies.
