Transferring From One Crib To Another

By Mervin Stollendall

Moving to a new house can have a lot of positive effects. There are times when you grow tired of the usual things you see and change can help. Yet moving to a new address is exciting but it can also be stressful.

If you're going to move to a new residence you'd probably be thrilled about the new environment. It's going to be a fresh new start for you. But before you'd be able to breathe the fresh air of your new home you need to face a pile of packing boxes and a lot of cleaning tasks to do.

The work that you have to do in moving your residence can overwhelm you. Though there are some who are used to being "nomads" the average person does not really move a lot in his lifetime. so when the time comes that you have to move, you'd be experiencing a lot of stress and worries. But you need not worry so much if you have a good plan. The following are some tips on how you can easily deal with all your cardboard packing boxes:

1. Make an inventory of all your stuff-do this room by room. Find out what stuff are there and try to classify them. If possible try to leave the stuff that you no longer use. It's just going to be additional clutter but will just gather dust in the end. This gives you a good picture of how much work you have to put in.

2. Set a schedule-it takes time to organize all the stuff that you have in the house. Set a schedule as to when you are supposed to pack certain stuff. You need to get things done within 1-2 weeks prior to your moving schedule.

3. Get materials-you'd be needing lots of boxes rolls of tape and some twines. Newspaper fillings and bubble wraps are also needed to protect fragile items. You'd also need a marker in order to label the boxes and containers that you have. Pay a visit to your handyman store or you can try one stop shops suck as box boys. They have all your moving needs in one shop.
