Can Trailer Graphics Promote The Royal Rumble?

By Michael Robert Peterson

If you're going to talk about the most noteworthy WrestleMania shows, it's easy to see that The Royal Rumble should be held in high regard. It's one of those shows that any wrestling fan is going to be focused on, regardless of how often they watch World Wrestling Entertainment from week to week. With that said, it's easy to see that such an event that benefit from further advertising. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me to see a greater level of usage regarding trailer graphics for this purpose.

For those who are not in the know, The Royal Rumble is one of the most popular pay-per-view events under the World Wrestling Entertainment umbrella. It's main attraction is the Royal Rumble match, in which a total of 30 wrestlers face off, to throw each other over the top rope. The last man standing is declared the winner and will go on to earn a world title shot at WrestleMania a few months after. To say that the stakes are high would be an understatement.

If marketing is to be done well, companies the likes of JMR Graphics stand to be focused on. After all, they understand the importance of trailer graphics and the fact that they can be built to bring just about any brand to the forefront. For the sake of WWE hyping The Royal Rumble, these types of graphics should be used a month ahead of time, at the very least. This goes to show that long-term growth is effective, whether it's in relation to sports or otherwise.

When it comes to the specific designs attached to these graphics, the competitors must be highlighted. Keep in mind that the actual Royal Rumble match is the selling point of this pay-per-view, meaning that its many competitors should be front and center. What this will do, on paper, is show that this match can be anyone's to win. It's a great selling point and it's one that can be incorporated into these very graphics, provided the idea of creativity is set in place.

It's clear that WWE fans, as well as general sports fans, are still going to watch The Royal Rumble. With so much prestige and hype backing up the event in question, it's not hard to see why it has built such a massive audience up until this point. This particular event can be helped through greater advertising and tools like trailer graphics can prove to be quite useful. When these are put into effect, the long-term benefits they possess will prove to be some of the strongest.
