How To Handle Jesus In Homeschooling

By Ryan Sanders

Religion is slowly being removed from the school curriculum. It becomes confusing when your children have to live with derogatory terms being thrown around regarding creationism. This is why teaching Jesus in homeschooling is the only option available to parents. It gives you a chance to impart positive and Christian based values to the kid while at the same time avoiding the confusion that comes from mixed schooling.

There are other advantages that come with homeschooling. It gives you full control of knowledge interaction your children have. It becomes easier to understand their mannerisms since you have taken control of their formation. No behavior will ever come to you as a shock since you have seen the child grow at the most crucial stage. Despite basic control over the curriculum, you have the final say over most knowledge interactions.

Learning under the watch of a parent and family members is fun. When the idea that learning is fun is implanted in the mind of a young one, the thirst to learn more grows. After all, the little chap will not have to endure cold morning, hectic bus rides and the cruelty of schooling, among other inconveniences of public schooling. This will instill a positive learning attitude in the child enabling him to pursue education further in future. His prospects in life will be raised significantly.

Children who school at home have extended interactions with family members. This helps to nurture and strengthen their bond. It becomes easy to inculcate virtues and specially love and respect for the family. This is the idea that was propagated by Jesus in the bible through all his teachings. You will bring up a child who has respect and can nurture a family as well.

The content of public schooling is determined by governments and learning institutions. The child is only left to follow a routine. The schedule does not appreciate changing seasons, ability and even the feeling of the child. Allowing a child to school at home gives you a chance to enhance such talents as athletics, art, music and others that are given little importance in public systems. This grows the confidence of your child tremendously.

There are so many ills in school today. They range from drugs to growing violence that are likely to affect the future of your child. All these virtues go against Christian belief and affect the future of the kid. The best way to avoid them is to school the kid from home. You have all the time to not only teach but demonstrate with your Christian life.

Christianity is about character other than displaying something different to the public. Your children will cease to live in pretense. You monitor and instill a character of honesty such that it will never shock you when your children act in a particular manner. You instill the values you admire in your child without giving him a chance to copy from classmates, teachers or workers in school.

Faith and belief play a critical role in shaping the character and determining the future of any child. The best way to instill the right values in a child is to take control of the learning process. There is no better way to do that than to school the kid from home. You are sure of what the child is learning and thus will not be shocked by hypocritical behaviors.
