Blogging is one of the most exciting new features of online technology. It is a unique way to create lasting relationships with those who do business with you, while increasing sales of products and services. An informed client is one who is likely to purchase, so use the tips here to create informative and useful blogs for your website.

Do not waste your time posting low feedburner counts. Your RSS subscriber count shouldn't be shown unless your count is at least several hundred. Having a small number demonstrates to your readers that your blog doesn't have very many readers. This is not a good method of attracting new readers to your blog.

Be prepared to have some successful days and some days that are failures. You will find that some blog entries that you post will bring in a lot of readers, and then some days you will have only a few people check out what you wrote. This does not mean that you are doing anything wrong, it is perfectly normal.

Online communities are one great place where you can promote your blog. All you have to do is search for some online communities that talk about topics that are similar to your blog's niche. Then all you have to do is participate in the conversation and promote your blog and you will be on your way to blogging success.

Make sure that you post content to your blog on a regular basis or you can lose readers. When readers subscribe to your blog, they do so because they have a genuine interest in what you have to say. Leaving them hungry for information will, most likely, lead them to go seek new content elsewhere.

Update your blog frequently to increase traffic and build a loyal readership. Research your articles well and make sure you are supplying good information that is pleasantly presented. If you neglect your blog for too long, people will forget about your blog! So, update it at least once a week to keep your blog fresh and current.

Make sure that you have SEO friendly themes, plug-ins and templates. This will allow your blog to load very quickly. The faster something loads, the more people are going to be willing to look at it. If a page takes to long to load, more than likely a visitor will just close the page.

Use social media sites to promote your blog. Many people will link blogs that they like on their social media page, and you can do the same thing. This will draw more attention to your blog, and more likely your friends will check your blog out, and may post it to their social media site as well.

Make sure that you're reading other people's blogs on a regular basis. This is an excellent way to get some new ideas when you can't think of anything new. A lot of times, your posts can be responses to other posts that you see on other blogs. Most of the time, this is ideal.

So you see that blogging is indeed a skill, but one that can be learned by anyone with a sincere desire to establish a solid relationship with those who visit their website. Just because your customers are not ones that you meet face-to-face, does not mean that the personal element should be disregarded.
