The Avengers & Why Fleet Graphics Matter

By Robin Setser

If you want to talk about Marvel, as a company, it's not out of the question to think that The Avengers won't be too far behind. After all, this particular company has been able to create some of the most recognizable superheroes. When it comes to pop culture, those names are practically timeless. With the amount of recent popularity they have built, though, it may not be out of the question to consider the usage of fleet graphics as well.

If you're someone who may not actually know about The Avengers, this is a group of Marvel superheroes, unified for a single purpose. Despite their clash of personalities, there's no denying the power that they possess when they work together. It's a great idea, to put it simply, and it's one that has been able to create great stories and movies in practice. It's also the perfect concept for those who have dreamed about what these superheroes would do if they ever met.

Along with the sheer magnitude of The Avengers, as a concept, there's also the aesthetic component that companies like JMR Graphics cannot overlook. First of all, think about how different the superheroes in The Avengers look. Iron Man, for one, is a red-and-gold armored warrior, whereas The Hulk is a being that changes form whenever anger takes hold of him. These are just a few examples to note, and reasons why they can make for intriguing fleet graphics.

Even though there is a visual attribute to make note of, as you can clearly see, it's easy to forget that the physical component matters just as well. In fact, one can argue that it's even more essential, since items like these will be used over the course of time. Vinyl is a material that matters, not only due to its ability to be applied or reapplied, but how it can hold up from a physical standpoint as well. Without high-quality physical graphics, you will not find the results you desire.

If you want to talk about some of the most recognizable characters in comic books, it's easy to see that The Avengers rank quite highly. As a result, one can imagine that they would be ideal for the creation of fleet graphics. With so many characters to depict, as well as various colors and designs to take into heavy consideration, designers may have a field day with this license. Of course, build quality matters, as this will ensure the long-term viability of these very graphics.
