Is There Magic To This Thing Called SEO?

There are no magic formulas when it comes to building a website and getting it recognized by the search engines such as Google. Many Internet marketers have heard about purchasing links and optimizing our sites with many incredible SEO techniques and we have attended to tweaking everything just so with much activity throughout its pages. Nevertheless, the results have been nothing to brag about. No wonder many of us want to know if we have done something incredibly wrong.

In truth, anything that is worth doing can certainly be tweaked too much. Google has a way of penalizing websites for being overtly optimized and for creating irrelevant links. You simply cannot fool the robots into believing that any website contains reliable information when it does not. Careful strategies and planning is required, with proper keyword placement in great content, if natural linking is going to be achieved to create the edge needed for success.
