If there's been one group that has more than proven itself since its debut, it has to be the Shield. These days, though, it seems like the trio has held a different spot on television than it did before. Instead of being a group of renegades out for themselves and their progress within the wrestling company, it has now been a case of them serving as almost the corporate security of the Administration headed by Triple H. How exactly did this group earn such a title?
The way that corporate security works is that it is able to keep all types of events under control. This goes for parties and charities alike, which leads me to believe that there is room for wrestling shows as well. After all, this kind security possesses great talent that can potentially be seen in just about any situation you could think of. This is exactly why I feel like authorities along the lines of The Protective Group have been able to prove themselves so far and will continue to do so.
Hired on by Triple H, the trio of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns has done well as security for their boss. For example, I have seen a case or two of them stationed at the end of the entrance ramp in order to keep interference from any given segment. They are able to hold their own in a number of different brawls, which only helps to make them that much more effective. It also does not hurt that every member of the Shield can call himself a champion.
You have to take into consideration that Ambrose has been United States Champion for a number of months. Champions for the same time, Rollins and Reigns work together as the Tag Team Titleholders. It's apparent that, based on this alone, the stable is dominant and I cannot help but feel as though this is very accurate. It's one of those groups that understand the kind of image it wants to get across and the inclusion of prized trophies in the company only helps it become that much greater.
The Shield has been effective, to say the least, ever since the three men debuted and there are a number of reasons for this. It's easily the strongest stable that I have seen in quite a few years and there are many reasons for this. It's not often that you see a three-man team with each member holding a championship but it's very telling. They have been effective in all respects and the fact that Triple H trusts them with the heavy work helps to make them that much better in corporate security.
